You’ve been at Kolide for one year! What’s been the best part of the last year? And the most challenging?
Time flies! This past year and everything we’ve been able to accomplish within it has been nothing short of incredible. I’ve been extremely impressed with all of my colleagues. Everyone here exudes intelligence, capability, drive and passion. So, the best part? That’s easy. The (now three) times I’ve had the pleasure of getting together with this amazing team to collaborate, volunteer and break bread in person.
When it comes to challenges, I only ever have one goal in mind: to ensure the user experience at Kolide is as optimal and smooth as it can be, that we deliver on all promised functionality, and that all expectations are met. Well, I guess that was three goals, but anything that gets in the way of them is on my to-do list.
What does your day to day look like?
My day begins with a latte, that is non-negotiable. Once properly caffeinated, it’s time to solve problems! As the face of Kolide support, I’m on the front lines of client communications monitoring our support email and live chat systems.
If there’s ever something that can’t be solved over chat or email, I can be found hopping onto calls to work through and help resolve issues. I’ve also been known to write some documentation from time to time.
What’s something that you don’t think most people would be surprised to know about you?
I’m a third generation Eagles fan. The NFL team, not the band.
What’s your favorite Slack channel?
#pets for the win!
If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? Why?
DB Cooper. Everyone loves a good mystery, right? I’d be after all of the answers I think we’d otherwise never know.
What would you say to someone who was thinking about working at Kolide?
Joining Kolide was the best decision I’ve made in my career, and it could be yours too!
